A wild police chase ended in chaos on Church Road, Bexley, when a suspected stolen car refused to stop for officers at 11.10am yesterday (March 3).
Dangerous High-Speed Chase Through Bexley Streets
The 17-year-old driver tore through residential areas, smashing into six vehicles along the way. The deadly joyride came to an end when the car was forced to stop on Roman Way, near Crayford Sainsbury’s— which was temporarily blocked off.
Teen Drivers Arrested at Scene
- The 17-year-old driver was nabbed on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, driving without a licence or insurance, and causing intentional harassment.
- The 15-year-old passenger was arrested for dangerous driving and failing to stop, but was later released with no further action.
Thankfully, no one was hurt during the smash-up. The driver remains under investigation.
