A suspected drug dealer has been slammed behind bars after cops uncovered £240,000 worth of cocaine hidden in a bedside drawer in Broadstairs.

Kent Police Crack Down on Thanet Drug Supply

On the morning of Thursday, 12 March 2026, officers raided two Broadstairs homes as part of a major drug supply investigation in Thanet.

They seized three kilos of Class A drugs and a hefty haul of cash during the swoops.

Suspect Remanded After Court Appearance

Rennie Ash, 46, from Westover Gardens, Broadstairs, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply, plus possession of criminal property (cash).

He appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Friday 13 March and was remanded in custody. Ash is due back at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, 13 April.
