Murder Investigation Underway
British Transport Police have opened a murder investigation after a 28-year-old man was found dead in the car park of Tamworth Railway Station in the early hours of Sunday, 8 March.
Staffordshire Police were called to Victoria Road at around 2:20am following reports that a man was found unresponsive. Paramedics attended but sadly confirmed his death at the scene.
Suspect Arrested and Scene Secured
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested and remains in custody as enquiries continue. A forensic team is examining the scene, and a police cordon is in place.
