Distressed Student drives Car into Disused Pub in Portsmouth

Portsmouth,Hampshire Tuesday 19th September 2017 Student who wanted to end his life has driven into disused Pub in Portsmouth this morning. Emergency services where called just after 9am this morning when the blue Vauxhall Cross Ploughed into the building causing serious damaged to the the former Boozer. A resident who asked not to be named claimed that the student who was driving was very distressed and wanted to the end their life. Council contractors have spent the morning shoring up the building and making it safe after the car was left embedded into the front wall of the pub after the crash at the Travellers Rest in Somers Road Southsea.

Police have also been at the scene working with partner agency to help the driver. A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue said that one crew from Southsea Fire station had been sent to incident at 9.18 on Tuesday morning scene safety was carried out and the crew left at 10.08am.
