Emergency services were called to the A2 near Bluewater early Thursday morning following a single-vehicle collision caused by aquaplaning in treacherous weather conditions.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m. when the vehicle lost control after hitting a large patch of standing water, overturning and blocking the carriageway. Kent Fire and Rescue Service dispatched two appliances to the scene to ensure it was made safe for other road users.
