Thrill Ride Horror at Cavendish Park: Three Injured, One Critical
A serious incident rocked Cavendish Park, Barrow, yesterday evening (28th August), leaving three people hurt on a theme park ride.
Emergency Called at 8:30pm
The North West Ambulance Service alerted police at 8:30pm following the accident. Two women and one man were injured during the ride malfunction.
Two Released, One Fighting for Life
The man and one woman have now been discharged from hospital. But the other woman was rushed to Royal Preston Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
Investigation Underway
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Cumbria Police have launched a joint probe. A cordon stays in place as officials dig into what went wrong.
