Fire Crews Called to Car Fire on the M3 Motorway near Winchester
Two Fire crews have been called to deal with a suspected car fire on the M3 Motorway near Winchester this morning (Thursday 5th October. One crew from Winchester supported by a second crew from Eastleigh were called just after midnight to a Landrover Discovery that was on the hard shoulder. The incident was yards from the M3 closure that saw the Southbound carriageway closed for over 11 hours. Crews used a hose reel to make the scene safe.
