Police are linking separate reports in the Allington area, involving a person who is said to have followed females and engaged them in unwanted conversation.

The incidents have taken place in and around Giddyhorn Lane and Poplar Grove. The most recent one happened at around 5pm on Sunday 5 May 2024, when it is alleged a child was approached by a stranger who tried to start a conversation with her.

Prior to this a woman reported being approached on 12 April, by a man asking her questions and who offered to walk her home. Investigating officers believe two further suspicious incidents, in March and April, may also be connected.
