It has been seven years in the making, with a £40 million investment, but in a move the editor of Portsmouth Evening News would be proud of, supermarket giant Asda have managed to offend every single resident on the Isle-of-Wight. Bags, designed especially for the store launch this morning, as part of a promotional competition, include the hilarious misspelling, “Isle Of White”. Perhaps the multi-million pound investment could have budgeted for a proof reader. After all, every little helps!
