Police raced to Wood Street, E17 at 10.29pm on Tuesday, 24 March after reports of a savage assault.
Victim Found Unconscious
Officers arrived to find a 37-year-old man lying unconscious. They quickly administered first aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was rushed to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Suspect Arrested at the Scene
A 46-year-old man was immediately detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
