Shocking discovery in Coventry as police launch urgent appeal after a man’s body was found stuffed inside a wheelie bin in a local park.
Disturbing Find in Cash’s Park
A member of the public made the grim discovery around 5 pm yesterday in Cash’s Park off Daimler Road. The victim, aged between 40 and 50, remains unidentified. He was found inside a Coventry City Council wheelie bin with a green lid.
Officers are working with the council to trace where the bin was moved from.
Police Hunt Driver Linked to Incident
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Poole from the Major Crime Unit revealed: “We believe this man was hit by a vehicle and then moved to the park.”
He urged the public: “If you think you may have hit someone in your car, noticed strange behaviour from a driver you know, or seen damage to a vehicle, we want to hear from you — urgently.”
The police are also asking if anyone has had a wheelie bin with a green lid stolen recently to come forward.
