Several individuals have been treated by paramedics and rushed to hospital following an incident involving a bus in Lewisham.
The incident occurred today on Longbridge Way when a bus reportedly had to make an emergency manoeuvre, causing standing passengers to be thrown to the floor. Metropolitan Police officers swiftly responded, providing emergency first aid to injured passengers at the scene while awaiting paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

A number of those injured have since been transported to hospital for further treatment.
Longbridge Way was temporarily closed between A21 Lewisham High Street and Courthill Road but has since reopened.
