Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a 26-year-old man was found fatally stabbed in Westminster.

Stabbing Rocks Abbey Orchard Street

Police were called to Abbey Orchard Street, SW1, on Friday, 27 March at 10:17pm following reports of a stabbing.

Officers arrived within three minutes and found the young man with multiple stab wounds. Despite emergency first aid and being rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service, he was tragically pronounced dead.

 


Investigation Ongoing, No Arrests Yet

Detective Superintendent Dean Lanfear said: “My thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends today as they process the loss of their loved one.”

“At this early stage, no suspect has been arrested and we are keeping an open mind regarding the circumstances of the incident.”

 

“We understand the concern this incident may cause. Officers are on patrol in the area to provide a visual deterrent and to offer reassurance to residents.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Specialist officers are supporting the victim’s next of kin. A post-mortem examination will take place soon.

Police urge anyone who saw or knows anything about the attack to come forward. Even the smallest tip-off could be crucial.
