OnlyFans Model Responds to Controversial Advertisements as Outrage Grows – UKNIP

London has become the center of a heated debate as billboards featuring OnlyFans model Eliza Rose Watson in suggestive attire promote her explicit content. The advertisements, which encourage subscriptions to her OnlyFans page and Instagram account, have drawn criticism for their perceived inappropriateness. OnlyFans is an online subscription platform primarily used for adult content.

Reports indicate that some billboards have been graffitied with messages demanding that “porn be kept off our streets.” People in various locations, including Harrow, Burnt Oak, Tottenham, and Lambeth, have voiced their discontent with the billboards, branding them as “ridiculous.

Responding to the backlash, Watson, a former preschool teacher, acknowledged concerns about children potentially accessing adult material but emphasized that OnlyFans has robust measures in place to prevent underage access. She explained that extensive planning and discussions about advertising regulations took place to ensure the ad’s compliance and safety for children.

Watson, a self-proclaimed “recovered addict turned gym junkie,” stated that her billboard was less provocative than underwear advertisements and well within the guidelines set by advertising authorities. She argued that adult-oriented ads, including those for alcohol, gambling, and Ann Summers, are commonly encountered on high streets.

The model highlighted her intention to break the stigma surrounding OnlyFans and promote open dialogue about the platform. She believes that increased conversation will reduce secrecy, shame, and potential misuse. Watson expressed gratitude for the support she has received, mentioning that her subscribers and even her parents were excited about the billboard.

While some residents have raised concerns about the sexualized imagery on public display, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has reported receiving two complaints about the advertisements’ appropriateness. The complaints are currently under review to determine whether further investigation is necessary.

As the controversy surrounding the OnlyFans billboards continues, discussions about appropriate advertising and the boundaries of adult content in public spaces are likely to persist. The ASA’s decision regarding the complaints will shed light on the regulatory response to such advertisements in the future.

An OnlyFans model says she would “absolutely” consider pushing more billboards in London promoting her pornographic content.
