Rugby Man Caught Red-Handed Dealing Coke – Jailed for Three Years!
Oxford Street Drug Bust Snaps Cocaine Dealer in Action
Police on patrol in Rugby didn’t waste a second after spotting a suspicious car cruising down Oxford Street last December. When they witnessed a drug deal going down, they pounced, arresting the driver immediately.
Dealer Nabbed with Cocaine, Cash, and ‘Deal Phones’ in Car
53-year-old Arian Varfaj, with no fixed address, was searched on the spot. Officers uncovered bags of cocaine, stacks of cash, and multiple mobile phones used to arrange drug deals. Varfaj was charged with supplying Class A drugs and locked up awaiting trial.
Warwick Crown Court Hands Down Tough 39-Month Sentence
After pleading guilty, Varfaj was sentenced on 6 March to 39 months behind bars—a strong message in the ongoing fight against drug crime.
Detective Constable Matthew Rapkins warned: “These toxic drugs bring poverty, misery and crime wherever they go. We are constantly out across the county on plain-clothed patrols and we will continue to target anyone who is willing to sow misery and harm in their community.”
