Police appeal for Dash Cam Footage following Multi Vehicle Collision on the M40
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on the M40. The incident occurred on Friday (23/10) at about 10.40am at junction two of the westbound carriageway between the entry and exit slip roads. The collision involved a white HGV towing a blue trailer, a white Volkswagen Caddy van, a white Nissan Cabstar and a black Audi Q5. All the vehicles were damaged and the HGV left the carriageway and came to a stop on the motorway’s embankment. Due to a significant diesel spill and barrier damage, the motorway was closed at junction two for more than six hours while repair work took place. One of the occupants of the Audi, a pregnant woman, was taken to hospital for assessment. A man who was also in the Audi sustained an injury and was also taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.
