Police Charge Man with Murder and Five Attempted Murder Charges over Russell Square Attack

Detectives investigating the murder of an American tourist in Russell Square have charged a man. Zakaria Bulhan, 19 of Robertson House, Tooting Grove, SW17, was charged on Friday, 5 August, with the murder of 64-year-old Darlene Horton. He was also charged with five counts of attempted murder, in relation to the five other individuals who were injured. He will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 6 August.
