Thames Valley Police are on the lookout for Geraldo Noka, 22, wanted over a savage assault outside a popular Oxford café on New Year’s Day 2026.
Brutal Attack Outside Café Baba
At around 4:30am on January 1st, two men in their twenties were set upon by a group, including Noka near Café Baba and Bodrum on Cowley Road. One victim suffered horrific injuries — a fractured jaw, torn flesh, and broken teeth — after being punched repeatedly, dragged to the ground, and kicked while defenceless.
Suspect Details and Police Appeal
- Geraldo Noka, 6ft tall, medium build
- Known frequenter of Cowley Road and Iffley Road areas
- Part of a group involved in the attack
Four others linked to the assault have already been arrested, with two charged and two released on bail. Police are now desperate to track down Noka.
“If you see Noka, do not approach him and call 999 immediately,” urged Detective Constable Isabel Searle of St Aldate’s police station. “We will never tolerate violence in our patch and are committed to serving the victims and bringing offenders to justice.”
