Emergency services have slammed the brakes on Portsmouth Road in Cosham following a serious incident that saw a person rushed to hospital.
Cosham Road Sealed Off
Police quickly established a cordon from Portsmouth Road to Hawthorn Crescent, holding the area tight near Highbury College. Officers remain on guard as they manage the situation.
Air Ambulance Scrambles to Scene
An air ambulance team, comprising a doctor and two advanced paramedics, rushed to the scene after the incident was reported shortly after 2.30pm on Thursday, 12 March.
“Following treatment on scene, a patient was taken to hospital by road ambulance with the air ambulance crew travelling with the patient to continue their care,” a spokesperson confirmed.
