Jamie Lewis, 33, from Pontypridd, has been jailed for four years and one month after pleading guilty to multiple serious drug offences at Cardiff Crown Court on February 25, 2026.

Lewis was caught up in a South Wales Police crackdown on a local drug line that kicked off in December 2025. Officers traced a phone number linked to him, which led to the arrest of Lewis and Alanis Davies, 28, also from Pontypridd, during a traffic stop.

Drugs and Luxury Watches Found

Police uncovered Lewis’s phone linking him to a cocaine supply. A search of his home revealed:

  • White rock-like substance (suspected cocaine)
  • Large quantities of grip seal bags and scales
  • Two expensive Rolex watches

Davies was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for two years.

Police Praise for the Bust

PC Justyn Lewis said: “Our officers are always patrolling in communities across the county and on the lookout for drug dealers. Jamie Lewis is now spending a considerable time behind bars where he belongs.”

This sentencing sends a clear message: South Wales Police are cracking down hard on drug crime in Pontypridd and beyond.
