Ryde Rescue called to vessel with loss of engine
The volunteers from the independent lifeboat in Ryde were called into service this afternoon. They got tasked by the Uk Coastguard to a 25 foot motorboat that had lost their engine out in the Solent off the Isle of Wight. The crew set up a tow between the casualty vessel and Ryde Rescue 1 and towed it to safety. All crew on board were safe and there were no Casualties.
