- Continue on A289 through Four Elms roundabout, Medway Tunnel, Lower Gillingham, Yokosuku Way and Ito Way to the A2 junction
- Follow the A2 eastbound to A278 roundabout, then use A278 southbound to rejoin M2 at junction 4
