Suspected Stolen Mountain Bike Recovered in Tonbridge

 

Kent Police is seeking the rightful owner of a mountain bike suspected to have been stolen from Tonbridge High Street last month.

The theft occurred at around 3:10 pm on Monday, 16 December 2024, outside Tonbridge School. Police were alerted to the incident and promptly responded.

Following initial inquiries, officers were able to locate the Btwin mountain bike and identify a suspect, a 28-year-old man from the local area. The suspect is scheduled to attend a non-custodial interview as part of the investigation.

Appeal for the Owner

Investigators are urging anyone who believes the recovered bike may belong to them to come forward.

To report ownership, individuals can visit www.kent.police.uk/report and quote reference 46/213297/24. Proof of ownership, such as receipts, photos, or identifiable details, will be required.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:

“We are keen to return this bike to its rightful owner. If you believe it is yours, please get in touch with us through the reporting link and provide evidence of ownership.”
