Tonbridge Police Hunt Owner of Stolen Mountain Bike

Kent Police are on the lookout for the owner of a Btwin mountain bike believed to have been nicked from Tonbridge High Street last month.

The theft happened at around 3:10 pm on Monday, 16 December 2024, right outside Tonbridge School. Police were quickly called to the scene and launched an immediate inquiry.

After some swift detective work, officers tracked down the stolen bike and identified a 28-year-old local man suspected of the theft. He is set to attend a non-custodial interview as part of the ongoing investigation.

Police Appeal for Bike Owner to Step Forward

Officers want the rightful owner to claim the recovered bike. If you think it’s yours, don’t hang about.

“We are keen to return this bike to its rightful owner. If you believe it is yours, please get in touch with us through the reporting link and provide evidence of ownership,” said a Kent Police spokesperson.
