Teenage School Girl Remanded in Custody after attempt Murder Charge

A 14-year-old school  girl has been remanded  after appearing before  Basingstoke Magistrate Court today. The girl who can not be named has been charged with attempted murder against fellow a pupil, after the girl were stabbed at school in Petersfield yesterday morning. The victim a 15 year was rushed to  Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, with a stab wounds to her chest yesterday morning after being stabbed with a sharp object. She is now at home recovering from her injury.

Police were called to the incident, in Cranford Road, at just after 9.30am on Monday to investigate an assault involving two female pupils. The teenager was arrested and questioned by Police over the attack. The teenager also faces a further charge of  threatening a person with a blade or sharp-pointed article on the  school premises.
Appearing before Basingstoke magistrates  this morning she has  remanded in custody  to appear at Winchester Crown Court on 25 May.
