A 14-year-old schoolgirl has been remanded in custody after a shocking stabbing at a Basingstoke school. She appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today charged with attempted murder of a fellow pupil.

School Stabbing Horror in Broad Daylight

The victim, a 15-year-old girl, was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital with serious stab wounds to her chest. The brutal attack happened just after 9.30am on Monday at Cranford Road school. Thankfully, the teenager is now recovering at home.

Police Called Straight to Scene

Officers arrived quickly and arrested the 14-year-old suspect at the school. She’s facing multiple charges, including attempting to murder a fellow student and threatening someone with a blade on school grounds.

Next Court Hearing Set for May

At today’s hearing, the teenager was remanded in custody. She’s due to appear at the Crown Court on 25 May. The incident has shaken the local community, raising fresh concerns about school safety and violence among pupils.
