The actor toured the hospital’s care and veterinary units, according to the centre. He even became pals with Freddie the badger.

Johnny was really nice and, in his own words, ‘blown away’ by what he witnessed,” they wrote on Facebook.

To top it all off, we gave him the unusual honour of briefly holding Freddie (as in Mercury!) one of the numerous orphaned badger cubs we’re currently hand parenting – and I believe it’s fair to say he was bowled over by the whole thing!

Mr Depp, a guitarist, was greeted by the rescue center’s sponsor, musician Jeff Beck, during his recent UK tour. They claimed that Mrs Beck, Sandra, was the one who brought Johnny to Folly.

Mr Beck was a member of The Yardbirds alongside Jimmy Page and achieved solo success in the 1960s with his song Hi Ho Silver Lining. Mr. Depp will accompany the rock guitarist on the remainder of his UK tour.

Depp, 58, who won his multi-million dollar US defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard, 36, earlier this week, has previously stunned audiences and fans by joining Beck on stage in Sheffield and at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The actor, who previously worked with Beck on the 2020 single Isolation, will now appear in Gateshead, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, and York.
