Johnny Depp Cuddles Badger During Surprise Visit to Wildlife Rescue
Johnny Depp was spotted getting up close and personal with a badger during a surprising visit to Tunbridge Wells’ Folly Wildlife Rescue. The actor toured the rescue centre’s care and veterinary units, charming staff and wildlife alike.
Depp Gets Hands-On with Freddie the Badger
The rescue centre shared on Facebook that Johnny was “blown away” by what he saw. As a special treat, he was even handed orphaned badger cub Freddie—yes, named after Freddie Mercury! The centre revealed, “He was bowled over by the whole thing.”
Rockstar Connections: Jeff Beck Welcomes Depp to the UK Tour
Johnny wasn’t alone in Tunbridge Wells. The actor was welcomed by legendary guitarist Jeff Beck, who’s sponsoring the rescue centre and currently touring the UK. It’s reportedly Mrs Beck, Sandra, who brought Johnny to Folly.
Beck, famous for his time with The Yardbirds and his 1960s hit “Hi Ho Silver Lining,” got Depp on board for the remainder of his UK tour. Depp, 58, has already wowed fans by joining Beck on stage in Sheffield and London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Tour Dates and Triumphs
Following Depp’s multi-million dollar US defamation victory over ex-wife Amber Heard, 36, the actor is back in the spotlight—this time as a touring guitarist. Depp will perform alongside Beck in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, and York, continuing to impress audiences across the UK.
