The Radford Family Moves to New £850k Farmhouse for Privacy

The Radford Family, stars of “22 Kids and Counting,” have relocated to an impressive new £850,000 farmhouse in Lancashire, citing privacy concerns as the primary reason for their move. Sue and Noel Radford opened up about the invasion of their previous home’s privacy by fans and their decision to move to a more secluded property.

The Radfords had been living in Morecambe, but the frequent visits and intrusions from fans taking pictures and approaching their home became a regular occurrence. According to Sue and Noel, the situation escalated when individuals began entering their property through the front gate and knocking on their door.

Sue expressed her discomfort with the intrusion, stating, “I’m more than happy to meet people out and about. But I think when it’s your house, it’s just not okay. There’s a line we draw with privacy, I think we have to. When they open the gate and knock on the door, that’s a line you don’t cross.

In search of a more private and spacious residence, the Radford family found their dream home, a nearly £1 million farmhouse situated in Lancashire. The farmhouse offers a serene countryside setting and greater privacy.

The new property boasts seven bedrooms, covering 2,690 square feet of living space, with elegant features such as high vaulted ceilings and grand wooden staircases. Its 350-year-old stone structure adds to its charm, providing the family with a historical backdrop for their new life.

The farmhouse includes a spacious garden with the added bonus of a greenhouse. This generous outdoor space allows the Radford children more room to play and explore.

Despite the larger size and additional amenities, one challenge remains – accommodating their large family. The new home lacks sufficient space for all 22 children, meaning that five of the older children will have to find their own accommodations.

Sue and Noel Radford expressed their excitement about their new home, stating that it ticked all the boxes and offered the privacy they had been seeking.

The Radford family’s journey continues on “22 Kids and Counting,” airing on Channel 5, with their new farmhouse serving as the backdrop for their growing family adventures.
