Radford Family Upsticks to £850k Lancashire Farmhouse for Privacy
The Radfords, famous from “22 Kids and Counting,” have ditched their Morecambe home for a grand new £850,000 farmhouse in Lancashire. The move comes after fans repeatedly invaded their privacy, crossing a line the family just couldn’t accept.
Fan Crazy Tactics Push Radfords Over the Edge
Sue and Noel Radford revealed that constant fan visits and picture-snapping outside their old home soon escalated. People even started walking through the front gate and banging on their door.
“I’m more than happy to meet people out and about,” said Sue, “but when it’s your house, it’s just not okay. There’s a line with privacy and when they come through the gate and knock on the door, that’s it — you don’t cross that line.”
Dream Countryside Home: Space, History, and Serenity
The family snapped up a spacious seven-bedroom farmhouse, covering 2,690 sq ft, nestled in peaceful Lancashire countryside. This 350-year-old stone gem features soaring vaulted ceilings and grand wooden staircases, blending history with home comforts.
- Sprawling garden complete with a greenhouse
- Plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run wild
- Tranquil, private setting away from prying eyes
Room for Family… Mostly
Despite its size, the house still can’t fully accommodate all 22 kids. Five of the older children will need to find their own digs for now.
Sue and Noel are thrilled with their new base. “It ticks all the boxes and finally gives us the peace and privacy we’ve been craving,” they said.
The Radfords’ adventures at their new home will continue on Channel 5’s “22 Kids and Counting,” bringing fans along for a glimpse of their expanding family life.
