A 77-year-old man has become the third prisoner to die in custody after testing positive for covid-19. He is the second prisoner to die at HMP Littlehey in Cambridgeshire with the virus. The 77-year-old died in hospital on Friday March 27.

It is the second death at the prison that has related to Covid-19. Edwin Hillier, 84, died on Sunday (March 22), 48 hours after he was rushed to hospital from his cell in HMP Littlehey.
