Three suspects are in custody after a 34-year-old man was viciously attacked in Warsash, Hampshire. The victim suffered serious injuries to his face, head, and legs and was treated by South Central Ambulance Service.
Attack Outside The Hook Pub
Police say the victim left The Hook pub with a friend before being set upon by a stranger on Warsash Road, near Dibles Road, between 12:15am and 1:30am. The assault left the man badly bruised and shaken.
Ongoing Investigation Leads to Three Arrests
Officers reviewed CCTV from the area and launched a swift investigation. As a result, a 19-year-old man from Whiteley and a 15-year-old boy from Southampton were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. Both have been bailed with strict conditions until 20 May 2026.
A 16-year-old boy from Fareham was also arrested, facing charges of grievous bodily harm and involvement in Class A drug supply. He remains on bail with conditions until 19 May 2026 while police continue their enquiries.
Police urge anyone with further information to come forward as the investigation continues.
