South London commuters faced disruptions and delays on Sunday morning due to two separate incidents, leading to road closures enforced by the Metropolitan Police.
In Tooting, the A214 Tooting Bec Road witnessed a closure in both directions between B242 Garrads Road and Doctor Johnson Avenue following a reported accident. The incident, which occurred around 2 am, advised motorists to seek alternative routes. The affected stretch of road is located adjacent to Tooting Common, a popular area for recreation and commuting.
