Tribute paid to a man Killed in Fatal A33 Collision who only lives once

A Tribute has been paid to a motorist who died following a collision in Kings Worthy on Monday. Christopher Tarrant, 27, of Dryden Close, Basingstoke, was the driver of a silver BMW which collided with a tree on the A33, Basingstoke Road, shortly before 2am on Monday, 26 March. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Today his family have paid tribute to him. They said: “Chris, known to all as Tosh, was a loving son, brother, dad, uncle and friend. “He was just 27-years-old and taken at such a young age. “His motto was ‘YOLO’ – you only live once. He will be sorely missed by everyone. Gone but not forgotten.” A 27-year-old woman from Basingstoke, who was in the front passenger seat, was also pronounced dead at the scene. A 21-year-old woman from Basingstoke, who was travelling in the back of the car, was seriously injured and taken to Southampton General Hospital. Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
