Wiltshire Police are investigating two separate incidents in Chippenham in which children were approached by men they did not know. There is no evidence to suggest that the incidents are connected, and in both cases, the children were unharmed and not detained.

In the first incident, reported on 29 January at around 3:10pm, a 12-year-old boy was approached by a man at the junction of Woodlands Road and Downing Street. The boy managed to run away from the man, who is described as mixed race, approximately 6ft tall, with a medium build, aged in his 30s. He was reportedly wearing a black hoodie, dark denim shorts, and a black face mask.
