Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was assaulted by a group of male youths in Amesbury this afternoon.
The incident occurred around 3.20pm at the bus stop outside Lidl on London Road. The suspects, described as white and all wearing tracksuits, were on foot at the time of the assault.
We are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist our investigation,” said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police. If you have any CCTV or dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident, please contact us.
Residents and passersby who may have been in the vicinity at the time of the assault are urged to come forward. Any information, no matter how minor it may seem, could be crucial in identifying the suspects and bringing them to justice.
