Woman Hurt in Bus Crash on A30 Bagshot – Road Closed
A woman has been rushed to hospital after a nasty collision with a bus on the busy A30 London Road near Bagshot.
Road Shut as Police Tackle Chaos
Police quickly shut both sides of the A30 to clear the wreckage and clean up spilled acid from the bus’s batteries. The crash left the bus powerless, forcing recovery crews to manually release the brakes before towing it away.
Serious Injuries and Traffic Chaos
The woman is believed to have a broken leg and damaged ribs. Emergency services treated two people at the scene before rushing them to Frimley Park Hospital. Thankfully, neither is in a life-threatening condition.
Second Crash Adds to Bagshot Gridlock
Meanwhile, a separate three-vehicle smash on New Road, Bagshot, has left two more needing hospital care. Police also closed New Road and blocked M3 access from Widdlesham, forcing drivers onto local diversions.
Ambulance Service Shares Details
“We were called just before half nine about a collision on the A30 involving a car and lorry,” said South East Coast Ambulance Service. “While attending that, another crash happened in front of us involving three vehicles. We dispatched a second ambulance. Two patients were taken to Frimley Park hospital and are stable.”
Police remain on the scene investigating both crashes and managing a major traffic headache for commuters.
