Woman Injured in Horror Crash with Bus on Busy A30 Near Bagshot

A woman has been rushed to hospital after a nasty collision with a bus on the packed A30 London Road near Bagshot. Emergency services immediately shut the road in both directions to manage the crash scene and clear up the mess.

Suspected Broken Leg and Acid Spill Halt Traffic

The injured woman is believed to have a broken leg and damaged ribs. To make matters worse, acid from the bus’s batteries leaked onto the road, adding to the chaos. With the bus having lost power, recovery crews had to manually remove the brakes before they could tow it away.

Major Delays as Police Close Roads, Divert Drivers

Police confirmed the A30 London Road is closed between B3029 High Street and the Miller & Carter area, causing heavy traffic jams. They’re actively directing traffic while conducting their investigation.

Adding to the turmoil, a second crash involving three vehicles erupted on nearby New Road, Bagshot. Two people injured there were also taken to Frimley Park Hospital. The New Road closure has cut off access to the M3 from Widdlesham, forcing drivers onto local diversions.

Ambulance Service Describes “Double Collision” Chaos

“We were called just before 8:30am for a collision on the A30 involving a car and lorry,” said South East Coast Ambulance Service. “While attending, another crash happened right in front of our ambulance involving three vehicles, though not us.

“We dispatched another ambulance. Two patients, one from each collision, were taken to Frimley Park. Thankfully, neither is in a life-threatening condition.”

Stay tuned as police continue their investigation and roads remain closed. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and follow diversions.
