Yellow Weather Warning Issued as Storm Kate set to hit the South

The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain from 21:00 tonight. Winds of up to 70mph could hit Hampshire on Monday when Storm Katie arrives, the Met Office has warned. The weather states: “Winds will strengthen markedly across southern England and through the Bristol Channel from the start of Monday, with the potential for 50-60 mph gusts inland and 70 mph gusts around coasts exposed to the south.
