A pompous Texas judge has gone viral for throwing a tantrum at an IT worker who was just doing his job. When the tech effortlessly sorted a minor computer glitch in the courtroom, the judge flipped out—feeling like a complete fool and lashing out over being told it was no big deal.

Power Trip in the Courtroom

The judge in question, Nathan J. Milliron of Texas’ 215th Civil Court, was clearly rattled when the IT guy called the problem a “false alarm.” The comment made him look downright incompetent—especially since it came from a hoodie-wearing techie while Milliron sat there in his judge’s robe. No way was this judge going to let the IT guy have the upper hand in his own courtroom.

So, what does Milliron do? He demands that the IT worker’s supervisors apparently, to threaten his job. Talk about a serious power trip!

Things Get Even More Ridiculous

Local Texas criminal defence lawyer Coby DuBose fired off an email telling the judge to apologise for his outburst. Milliron’s response? He accused DuBose of making an illegal ex parte communication and ordered him to show up next week, under threat of contempt.

This judge clearly has a serious attitude problem and a fragile ego. With his hissy fits and attempts to bully anyone who challenges him, it’s only a matter of time before he embarrasses himself further.

Let’s hope Texas court officials step in fast to stop Milliron’s meltdown before it gets any worse.
