Anti-cuban Sanctions Protest Outside Lloyds Bank Brighton

Yesterday afternoon (17th December) members of the Brighton branch of the “Revolutionary Communist Group” picketed Lloyds Bank Brightons North road to bring awareness to the banks closing of the accounts for “1c4cuba”. A “campaign was launched by a group of Cuba solidarity organisations in Britain and Europe”.

The accounts were being used as part of a campaign to “call out” British and European banks for aiding in the US blockade over Cuba “but also to make these extraterritorial applications of US sanctions on Cuba unenforceable”.
