In a unique and challenging rescue operation, a horse was saved after falling into a partly empty swimming pool in Sherborne Hill, Sherborne, Dorset. The incident, which occurred on Friday shortly after 9.20pm prompted a swift response from emergency services.

The 28-year-old horse accidentally fell into a swimming pool, which contained about 10 inches (25 cm) of water. The circumstances leading to this unusual situation remain unclear, but the animal found itself in a precarious position.
