An early morning stabbing incident near the British Museum in London has left a man hospitalised, though his injuries are reported as non-life threatening.
Authorities have emphasized that the incident is not related to the British Museum, which remains open to the public as usual.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police provided details on the event: “Police were called to Great Russell Street, WC1 at approximately 05:32hrs on Monday, 22 July following reports of a stabbing. Officers attended and found that the victim and two suspects had left the scene in cars. The victim was later treated at a hospital for injuries that are serious but non-life threatening.
The police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Information can be shared by calling 101, contacting ‘X’ @MetCC and quoting CAD1107/22Jul, or anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
