Police launch probe after man is threatened with knife in Binstead
Police have launched a probe on the Isle of Wight after a male threatened to stab a father with a knife in the Binstead area of the Island. Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are understood to be investigating the incident which took place this afternoon. (Thursday). The victim who had his two young children in the vehicle he was driving, attemped to manoeuvre around the man who has been described as being as high as a kite and was in the middle of the road being obstructive towards the traffic. The terrified driver attempted to ask the man to move but he refused. When he then tried to move around the man the man turned violent and pulled out a kitchen knife. Police were called and a man is understood to have been questioned. Enquiries are on going
