The Office for Product Safety and Standards has issued a product recall notice for SIBA NH Fuse-Links of size NH000, citing a potential safety risk. The recall was announced on 3 October 2024 and involves multiple batch codes purchased between April and July 2024.

Hazard Description

The SIBA NH Fuse-Links have been identified as posing a potential safety hazard. The sand sealing cap may not seal properly, which could lead to sand leakage during use, particularly in high-vibration environments. This could negatively impact the fuse’s extinguishing performance in the event of a short circuit, posing a potential safety risk. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations (2005).

Corrective Action
