War Memorial Vandals Leave Clue to their Identity

Vile vandals who sprayed blue paint into the eyes of the stone troops on Portsmouth’s War Memorial in Guildhall Square left one massive clue – they tagged the Square’s statue of Queen Victoria at the same time with the same paint!!! As the disrespectful hoodlums carried out their disgraceful act, in the early hours of Monday morning, the temptation to tag the nearby statue was clearly too great and the moniker, DMX, was daubed over its plinth in identical blue spray paint. Anybody with any information as to the identity of ‘DMX’ is urged to contact Hampshire Police on 101 with any information
