Armed Police Called to Ashford Town after Man seen with a Gun

Armed officers from Kent Police surrounded a man in the High Street in Ashford town centre yesterday morning Sunday May 28th). Police say they were called at 10:50am to a man ‘with a gun’. A 44-year-old man local man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm. He remains in custody awaiting questing by officers.
