Hastings Sports Bar Brawl: Three Men Arrested After Violent Disturbance
Chaos erupted at the Sports Bar in Wellington Square, Hastings on Saturday night. At 9.25pm, police were called to a large fight involving multiple people. Officers quickly stormed in, broke up the fracas, and shut the bar down.
Three Men Nabbed Over Violent Clash
- 29-year-old from St Leonards arrested on suspicion of affray
- 32-year-old from St Leonards held for causing grievous bodily harm and affray
- 37-year-old from St Leonards detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm
All three remain in custody for questioning as police dig deeper into the incident.
Two Injured in Rough Night
A 19-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man received treatment for injuries sustained in the brawl.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Sergeant Paul Hardy said: “An investigation is underway. Anyone who was at the Sports Bar or has information should contact Hastings CID online or call 101, quoting serial 1455 of 17/10.”
