Teen Murder Shocks Corby: Police Hunt for Crucial Footage
Northamptonshire Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a deadly stabbing in Corby left 16-year-old Rayon Pennycook dead. The tragedy unfolded just before 7pm on Tuesday, May 25, at the junction of Constable Road and Reynolds Road during a fight involving several girls and a boy.
Rayon Pennycook Dies After Knife Attack
Despite desperate attempts by paramedics, Rayon died at the scene. Police have arrested three boys aged 15 and 17 on suspicion of murder. All remain in custody as the investigation heats up.
Police Seek Dash Cam and CCTV Footage
Detective Chief Inspector Joe Banfield pleaded with the public to share any mobile phone videos, CCTV, or dash cam footage from the area at the time.
“I strongly urge anyone with relevant footage to submit it anonymously via our online portal,” said DCI Banfield. “We are moving fast on this investigation and are committed to delivering justice for Rayon.”
