Knife Attack Shocks Southsea Car Park
Chaos erupted around 5.10pm in the Canoe Lake Car Park beside Southsea Model Village. Ten police cars swarmed the scene as Hampshire officers sealed off the east end of the car park.
Fight Ends with Terrifying Knife Slash
A car pulled in carrying two men and a woman. The men stormed out and started arguing. Suddenly, one male pulled a knife and slashed the other across the neck. He then jumped back into the car and sped away, leaving the injured man bleeding on the ground.
Paramedics Rush Victim to Hospital
South Central Ambulance Service arrived fast to treat the wounded man before rushing him to hospital for life-saving care.
“I was absolutely terrified when I saw the knife,” said an eyewitness. “The guy looked furious. When he slashed the man’s neck, I was in total shock. It was horrific to see and I hope he pulls through.”
Hampshire police are staying at the car park overnight with a strong presence to keep the area safe.
